The Extended Protection Armor is the toughest armor found in Door Kickers. The armor has a severe mobility penalty of -8 but armor's frontal protection rating of 8 is incredibly useful, especially when facing a lot of enemies, or starting with enemies having the team in their sights.
The Shield class will generally benefit from this. Even if a bullet fails to stop in the shield, it will stop in the body armor.

- The Extended Protection Armor closely resembles the IBA Tactical Vest (Interceptor Body Armor) that was used by the US Military, the only apparent difference is the lack of a neck guard.
